Twilight Hours of Dockers

Even Corgis have a bedtime.

I realized very late Sunday evening that I only had an hour or so to capture images of my Corgi boys for the 52 Weeks of Corgis before the end of the current week, and thus forfeiting week 33 of the series. Late meaning, it was almost 11:00 pm. Night-time shots are a challenge.

Sleepily, supportive and without whining (that I could hear), my boys patiently indulged me. I invited them outside, away from their cozy beds inside, and late at night I’m lying on my stomach on the cement working to capture natural shots of sleepy corgis.

Dockers is the most difficult to capture without the proper lighting because the fur around his beautiful face is so dark. Here, the lighting softly caresses one side almost to a fault as I risk the loss of capturing the other side of his face and eye. I’m more than happy of how it turned out.
