Those Eyes

Most Pembroke Corgis don’t have tails. Years ago, I had a telephone conversation with my sister and was trying to explain what a Corgi looks like (this was before we added our first Corgi-kid to our family). I made mention that they don’t usually have tails. Without hesitation, she asked “Well, then how do you know when they’re happy?” I was stumped. Something I really never considered. It’s body language and their eyes. It’s in those eyes.

Nikita has always had volumes of expression in his beautiful, dark outlined eyes.
