Nikita – Our Birthday Boy

Many things to celebrate in the month of December.  Besides the holidays and all that it entails, Hubb’s birthday, our anniversary and sweet Niki’s birthday.   His birth has been a gift to us the day before our anniversary.

Photographing him on his birthday usually entails holiday decor in some sense.   In this image, he’s lying in front of a vase of colorful ornaments, under the Christmas tree of twinkling white lights.   He very patiently gives in to my annoying behavior of having the camera in his face.   All he really wants to do is either flip over on his back (in classic Corgi-fashion) or brush up against me for hugs and kisses.
