Canis lupus familiaris II
I’m reiterating what I wrote in Dockers – Canis lupus familiaris:
The dog is a domesticated form of the gray wolf and a member of the Canidae family of the order Carnivora. The trinomial name is Canis lupus familiaris.
Corgis have those beautiful wolf features in their faces. They didn’t evolve to look like a beagle, pug, poodle or boxer. Niki’s coloring are probably more common when folks think of a Welsh Pembroke Corgi. Because he’s lighter, you may not quickly think of his ancestors’ resemblance. Since he is Docker’s son and he is a Canis lupus familiaris, I thought it befitting and appropriate to entitle it the same as the previous post…adding “II” Maybe I should’ve called it “Jr.”?
