Is It Over Yet?

Is it monstrous of me to smile and chuckle whenever I look at this image of a wet, but clean, Cody?

His whole demeanor changes when it’s bath-time. He becomes very subdued, almost as if I scolded him. He keeps his head down, eyes lowered in torment. It’s so sad. But afterwards…. after I’ve initially dried him off and we’re outside for grooming details, he’s a little beast! It’s like through the duration of the bath, all this pent up energy queues up and then he’s ready to let go and explode from exuberance that it’s all over.
