Dockers Celebrates A Birthday Today

Today is my Docker’s birthday.

Is it a good or sad thing that he’s absolutely oblivious to birthdays?  There’s:

• No expectations.
• No hints leading up to the day.
• No self-gratifying excuses for special treatment or treats.

He goes about the day, soaking in the extra kisses and fuss and resigning that I’m just a bit more elaborate than usual with the talking, kisses, kissie noises, hugs and pick-ups. He still looks at me like he’s reading my mind and makes me feel like I’m still the best thing since sliced bread (okay, that stretching it a little).    Hey!  Whose birthday is it anyways?
