Canis lupus familiaris
The dog is a domesticated form of the gray wolf and a member of the Canidae family of the order Carnivora. The trinomial name is Canis lupus familiaris.
Docker’s face looks like a wolf’s. It’s not hard to see the resemblance. I was very much looking forward to the National Geographic Channel’s two-hour segment entitled “…And Man Created Dog” I didn’t finish watching it and don’t feel like I missed much in not doing so.
