Cody – The Walk

When I was a kid, I came across this drawing book on how to draw or sketch animals. I remember one of the lessons was a study in the walk of a mountain lion or cougar. The cougar’s paw was positioned as Cody’s is in this image. It’s almost cat-like, his walk.

I remember reading a quote by Tasha Tudor …something about how Corgi’s are a cross between a dog and cat. I can attest to that. She’s so right. Of our three Corgi-boys, this is plain-faced evident with Cody. He meows, purrs and can sometimes have the demeanor of a cat.
