Canis lupus familiaris – Corgi
I’m reiterating what I wrote in:
The dog is a domesticated form of the gray wolf and a member of the Canidae family of the order Carnivora. The trinomial name is Canis lupus familiaris.
I couldn’t very well leave Cody out of being publicly distinguished as a domesticated form of gray wolf too! He’s a character to be sure and one that shows a bit more of his primal instincts and demeanor closer to his ancestors, the wolf. However, he’s all Corgi…and a spoiled one at that. I’ve never had a fur-kid that loves to snuggle more than Cody does.
