Bright Eyes

Two years sped by all too quickly. I was photographing some freshly bloomed, colorful poppies on a warm Spring morning. So caught up in capturing the new blooms, the most photogenic moment was almost overlooked. As I checked around me about to move the tripod, careful not to step on one of the Corgi Boys, I finally noticed this sweet, bright-eyed Cody watching and staying close by my side.

He’s a youngin’ here. His eyes are so clear, bright and lively. He hasn’t changed much, two years later. He’s just as lively, if not more.
