Funny how timing is really everything. Just so happens that for very important reasons (that we won't mention), Spouse and I are home on this particular day at this particular time. What's so unusual about that? Well, it's a work day and we both would've been long gone by 8:15 in the morning on a Tuesday.
At this particular very second we are looking out the window at Dockers and a very busy Cody.
What is he doing?
Can't make it out. Wait a minute! He's now on the other side of our fence!! He's out!
What timing. What if we weren't home? I'm not sure he'd know what to do with himself if we were gone all day. We might not ever have seen him again. I shudder to think how the outcome of the day might have turned out.
Luckily, with just one whistle or call of his name, he's back in seconds.
Cody hasn't really bulked up yet, being so young. It's still very easy for him to get under things with his slender frame. Later that evening while mending the area where Cody did his Houdini, Nikita sits close to observe the mending – making sure it will keep his little buddy in, nice and safe.
