"Nikita's Markings"
This photograph of Nikita and a similar image of Cody this week, were taken intentionally to focus on their eyes with part of their muzzles in the picture. Neither image was cropped. The room was pretty dark, but only two hours left in the day for me to honestly say I took it in week 9, I was determined to capture that shot that told the day/week. Like Cody's image, I used a flash that could've served as a beacon. After I took this shot of Nikita, I quickly took a look at the image I just captured through the camera and couldn't stop laughing. Maybe only a mom can appreciate it. Nikita was not amused, but Cody was interested in what Nikita could've possibly have done to get such a jovial reaction from me. After-wards, I recreated the same shot with Cody. Wasn't able to recreate it with Dockers.
Nikita is usually pretty easy to photograph. Can some canines be photogenic like some people? Nikita is photogenic. Although, in this image, you can't nearly appreciate his markings and patterns as you might more easily be able to do with Cody or Dockers. Nevertheless, Nikita has a beautiful face…and his eyes tell all.
